Women Excellence in Research Awards

The fNIRS 2022 Women Excellence in Research Awards aim to recognize female undergraduate students, graduate students, and postdoctoral fellows excellent contributions to the conference program with their presentation or poster

These awards are intended as a mechanism to support younger researchers and to promote inclusion in the biomedical, engineering, clinical, behavioral, and social sciences fields

The awards include a certificate and a cash prize that can be used to that can assist with paying for fNIRS meeting registration fees

The awards will be announced at the fNIRS 2022 biennial meeting

ELIGIBILITY

  • Women and gender-diverse individuals from any countries are eligible
  • The candidate must be a undergraduate students, graduate students, or postdoctoral fellows
  • The candidate must submit one (or more) abstract(s) as a lead author
  • The candidate must be a member of the Society for fNIRS

No need to apply for these awards, the awardees will be selected by the SfNIRS DEI committee among the presenters at the fNIRS conference
